I sometimes recommend products using an affiliate link. An affiliate link is basically a link to a product that I’m recommending which, if you click through and make a purchase within a specific timeframe, will generate a small commission for me (at no additional cost to you). I generally spend that commission on ingredients so that I can test more recipes and I only ever recommend products and services that I use myself, and genuinely believe will be helpful to my audience. I will always indicate clearly on the page where a link to a product is an affiliate – sometimes I recommend great things that I’m not part of the affiliate programme for, but I just think they’ll be useful to my readers.
